This page explains what happens to your information when you use this site. It is written in plain language on purpose.

Who is responsible

This site and the book WTF Is AI are published by Eddie King. If you want to contact me about anything on this page, email eking.pt@gmail.com.

What I collect

• Your email address, if you enter it to get the free chapter or to hear about the next book.
• Purchase information, if you buy the book. Payment is processed by my payment provider. I never see or store your card details.
• Basic usage data from the site host and, if advertising is running, from the advertising platform, such as which page you landed on and roughly where in the world you are.

What I do with it

• Send you the free chapter and, occasionally, an email when a new book in the series is out.
• Deliver anything you have bought and handle refunds and support.
• Understand which pages and adverts work, so I stop wasting money on the ones that do not.

I do not sell your information to anybody, and I do not share your email address with other companies for their own marketing.

Unsubscribing and deletion

Every email has an unsubscribe link and it works immediately. If you want your data deleted entirely, email me and I will remove it and confirm when it is done.

Cookies and tracking

The site itself uses no analytics cookies of its own. If advertising is running, the advertising platform may set its own cookies when you arrive from an advert. You can block those in your browser settings without affecting the site.

Where your data is held

Email addresses are held with my email and hosting providers, which may store data outside your country. Payments are held by the payment provider under their own privacy terms.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to see what I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email me and I will deal with it rather than making you fill in a form.

Note for the publisher: have this reviewed against the rules that apply where you sell before you run paid traffic, particularly if you sell into the UK, EU, Australia or California.
